Why we built ShmoStuff
A friend kept lending out her chairs and tables for events, and kept forgetting who had them. An insurance agent I know, with a storage unit of his own, told me the same list could help him find things in his unit and prove what he owns if it's ever stolen or lost in a fire. So I built ShmoStuff to do all three: know what you have, where it is, and who has it.
